Leather Care Guide

Whether it's a bag or a wallet, genuine leather is an investment that grows more beautiful over time. Here’s how to keep your Goolink product lasting a lifetime.

Daily Routine

  • For Bags: Avoid hanging them while heavily loaded for long periods to prevent strap stretching.
  • For Wallets: Avoid keeping them in your back pocket to prevent leather warping.
  • Wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth weekly to remove dust and oils.

Proper Storage

  • Stuff bags with tissue paper when not in use to maintain their original shape.
  • Always use the provided "dust bag" to protect your product from dust and sunlight.
  • Never use plastic bags; leather is a natural material that needs to "breathe".

Care & Conditioning

  • Use a specialized leather cleaner or a cloth slightly dampened with warm water.
  • Apply a leather conditioner every 4-6 months to keep the leather supple and prevent cracks.
  • Clean zippers with a soft brush to ensure smooth operation.

Quick First Aid

For Emergency Cases

Water Exposure?

Dry immediately with a cloth. Never use a hairdryer; let it air dry naturally in the shade.

Sun Exposure?

Constant sun causes leather to dry, crack, and fade. Always store in a cool, dry place.

Minor Scratches?

Rub the scratch gently with your clean finger in a circular motion; body heat redistributes leather oils.

Perfume Stains?

Alcohol is an enemy to leather. Avoid spraying perfume directly onto your bag to prevent permanent spots.

The Goolink Philosophy

We use "Full Grain" genuine leather, which develops a "Patina"—a natural protective layer and sheen that improves with age. Minor scratches and color shifts are not defects; they are the marks of authenticity that make your piece unique.
